I am faced with a similar problem. I am on the verge of buying a BeoVision 9 for the benefit of HD picture. However I understand the virgin media HD boxes do not allow the SD picture to be distributed to the link rooms as the HDMI protocol takes preference over an also attached scart. Has anyone got round this with a virgin box ?

I have an old (mk1) Beosound 9000 on which the CD's are refusing to spin. I think I need the CD mechanism replacing with a brand new (newer) mk3 mechanism. Does anyone have any experience of this and how much i should expect to pay Thks Phil

Hi to all, does anybody know how i can run the Test Mode of a Beosound 9000 MKI via the Beo4. I am Silver Member, but i just found the Manual for MKIII. The "trick" mentioned in the forums of using SHIFT 9-0-2-5-8 does not function. I am keen to be able to do this as at the moment i have a cd mechanism that moves to the discs , clicks a few

Main room (downstairs): Avant DVD , Besound 9000 , 4 beolab 8000.s and subwoofer connected directly to the Avant , Link room(upstairs) :Beovision 5 , registered as option 6 I have a virgin media STB connected the Avant to and registered under the Decoder scart (comes up STB(SAT)
