I guess this is a real tuff question!

Does anybody know if there is a NTSC tuner conversion kit for the Beovision mx5500

I live in the Berkeley California Why?

I'm having the same problem except for my Beovision mx5500 is a European model so I'm trying to figure out if its even worth it to get it up and running! I got a 300 watt step up/step down transformer for it and tryed to see if it would turn on and unfortunately it wouldn't and I don't know if this is simply because i have the wrong

I just picked up a Beovision mx5500 that i think is a European model it runs on European voltage, it says 220-240 ~50hz 120w on the back. so my question is what would be the best voltage transformer for the TV and if I can get it to power up will there be anything else I will need to get it to work here or am I fighting a fruitless battle?
