You just need to lift the platter off. You can use something thin like a credit card to go under the platter and lift it up.

I replaced the belt last year. How does one get the motor serviced? It seems like songs on the inner grooves have more of an issue than others. I listened to Rhapsody in Blue on it last night and, overall, the sound seemed fine till the last 6 minutes or so. Then, I began to notice it. It's more of a warped sound, I think.

My trusty old Beogram 3404 has been giving me some problems. When I play music that's an isolated voice or single instrument, like an acoustic guitar, it just doesn't sound right. I get the feeling like the speed may not be right, but could it be because of there's too much wow or flutter? Would that issue be disguised when there's more
