  • Aluminum scratch removal

Has anynone been able to remove scratches from the aluminum surface of beolab 6000, 8000 or similar? Just something like the one in the picture. If so, could you please tell us the trick?

Thanks for the advice Craig. I have just bought it. If the process is explained in that CD I will post it. Alfonso

That is the item I was talking about: http://cgi.ebay.es/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=008&viewitem=&item=180223805731&rd=1 Do you think it's worth 32 USD? Is there a way to get access to the service manual of the beolab 2500? Alfonso

Hi Graham, I have a DVM and a tone generator software for PC. I don't have the service manual but someone sells at ebay a CD with plenty of them, so I will buy it to try. Regards Alfonso

  • Beolab 2500 adjust

I have a couple of Beolab 2500 and they sound different. One of them has more bass and more treble. I had to open one of them to solve a problem and saw there are a couple of adjustable resistors that modify the bass and treble. Anyone knows the procedure to adjust them to get from both speakers around the same sound. Thanks in advance.
