Actually it's a client so I have to be scrupulously fair which is why I asked the question. You are on the nail with what I thought and it's good to get an unbiased opinion. I'm really only after the speakers (damn - no stands!) to use them for the "Ambio" effect on my trusty Beolab 1700. Thanks for the advice

I've been offered Beomaster 1900, Beogram 1100 (with MMC 3000) and a pair of S60s. Appears to be working perfectly except for bass indicator light which is not that important. Don't know what to offer to be fair to both parties - any ideas? Nick

Craig Thanks so much. The manual says 125 cm which sounds like a lot I know but it goes round several pulleys. Sorry that was just a tag line to catch interest. I have a Beocenter 2600 in pieces on the bench and the dial drive cord connecting the tuning slider to the fm tuner is broken. I've found an old manual which indicates how it is attached round various pulleys. However I presume that the spare cord is not available - any suggestions for a suitable

Anyone want 2 free remotes for a BeoVision 6002 (circa 1979), one is new the other used but as I don't have a B&O tv I can't test. Guy who has them will chuck out in a couple of days if no-one wants them. Nick

I have an ancient 1700 series system (amp, tuner, cassette, Beogram 4000 and a pair of beovox 3702) which have been in storage for years but are now out on parole and working well. Can I connect a CD player, are there adapter cables available to convert into the old din style plugs and which is the best input on the amp for a good "clean"
