yep already tried this, unfortunately nothing at all happens. the record starts turning but thats it, and the needle still only just touches the label

hi, thanks for your response! yes, i love he finish of the 3500 as does my girlfriend. which is why postage was such a pain :) but yes, the lift button is flush with the surface and still moves. no click though :/ is there any way of cleanng it? i cant actually see any dust, or any gap around the button could that also be the reason why, when i set

Hi there I went through a bit of trouble recently getting a Beocenter 3500 for my girlfriend as she has a large collection of vinyl and her last record player was a 'cheapie' that melted one summer in the sun!
