Does anyone know how to splice the speaker cable for 8000 loudspeakers? I cannot use a junction box because my wire is actually damaged and I just need to patch it. Thank you.

THIS PROBLEM WAS SOLVED BY SENDING MY SYSTEM IN FOR REPAIR. THE SERVO BOARD AND LASER LENS HAD TO BE REPLACED. $250 AND IT'S WORKING PERFECTLY. THE GRAMAPHONE SHOP IN DENVER COLORADO WAS GREAT TO WORK WITH.

Thank you. I've kept it clean and cleaned the tabs thoroughly, to no avail. I'm going to put a call into B&O tech support support. Coincidentally, I had an old B&O single disc system (with cassette and the sliding glass doors) and it did the exact same thing.
