Long time B&O fan and have a couple of the old "tv tube" style B&O televisions. Now have found a BeoVision 4-42 television for sale for a pretty good price. He said that it has a couple of small scratches on the screen, otherwise works fine. I have not seen it in person, needing to clarify some info about it first. My question for

Marc, Thanks and how difficult is it to get to the capacitors that need replacing? Do not mind taking it a ways apart but if they are on the bottom of a stacked circuit board that takes hours to get to and there are hundreds of them to replace the "fun meter" goes downhill at that point. Any suggestions on where to buy these parts? Thx, Joe

Jean, Thanks for the reply and how much of a hassle is it? I built a Heathkit television as a kid (and it actually worked) so know what a soldering iron is used for! Is this for the roll control or low sound issue? Thx, Joe

I have a Beovision MX5000 that has worked fine for many years now. In the last couple of months it has starting losing its roll control, and at times the picture will roll without stopping for a while. It does this for a while, then the normal picture returns. I assume that there is a "roll adjustment" somewhere on the television or in the
