Hello Peter, just to continue with my Beogram 8002 problem with the sound: after some months I have just bought a Beogram RX the other day and tested it with my MMC 1 cartrige and still there is almost no sound coming out of this record player either. This is making me think that unless both Beograms have a problem (which is unlikely) the problem is

Hello Peter, and thanks for your answer. I have reopened the Beogram and checked the little circuit board and the left channel wire was broken. I have resoldered all those wires to the board and reassembled the player. The relay is clicking and I can hear sound. The problem is that the sound is weak and has a vail of noise over it. Hello everybody, I have a Beogram 8002 that wasn't working and I have changed the old capacitors with new ones and the Beogram is alive now. The arms move into position, the needle gets on the record but for some reason I can't hear sound through the Beomaster 8000. When I turn up the volume really high I can hear very faint music from the record
