HI Marc I have both the Lab 9s and the Lab 5s , in different rooms They are both excellent but do have quite different sound quality... and price tags I have been surprised by the quality of the 9s and did audition them in my room with the 3s before I committed. I would have to say that the 9s are in a different league from the 3s and I personally feel

Thanks Ray It really should be possible as it is nothing special to upgrade hard drives in most ocmputers these days and the beomedia is really no more than that. I will let you know......

I am taking possession of a BV9 with inbuilt Beomedia. The HD capacity is 250Gb. Can this be upgraded to a larger capacity disc as it becomes full ( inevitable with time) Does any one know if the disc in the Beomedia is simply a 3.5 inch standard drive? Lastly...is there any way of attaching an external drive directly to facilitate a backup process

THe real question is whether to go with the Beo 5 or the Beo 9 Is there a big difference to justify the price difference/ PM
