Hi, I have rotated the motor with a string to try and loosen it and it now rotates smoothly. With the power on and the control in play, stop, ff and rr the volatage to the motor reads 14.8 V on the multimeter, When then machine goes on standby mode this returns to almost zero. I dont have a power supply to test the motor itself but it doesn't rotate

Hi Kernowhoop. I have a 2200. You can connect a CD player by buying a 5 DIN plug to RCA lead. I got a lead from ebay for a few dollars. You plug this in the front on the beocentre to the tape copy plug. Then press the tape button on the top to hear the CD. It works fine. Sam

Hi NoBit I have taken the tape belts off and pressed play ff rr etc. The solenoids move but there is definitely no movement of the motor. Thanks for your advice about this. Where to next? Sam

Hello I wanted to enquire about the connections for a 1980s era Beomaster 2000. I just bought a complete Beosystem 2000 from Ebay. It is fairly mint condition.
