Hello I had a pair of Beolab 3's in a small room, with no Beolab 2, and they were certainly clear, but no matter how I changewd bass, loudness, adjusted speaker setting, I was not happy with the sound. Even adding a Beolab 2 didn't help, as they sounded muffled, and I was struggling to hear the midrange. i swapped the Beolab 3's for 8000's

Hello Everyone In 2000, I purchased a pair of Beolab 8000's. They were in a very large room, connected to my Avant and Beosound 9000, and did not sound at all impressive. I upgraded to Penta 3's, then to Beolab 1's. then added a subwoofer - all to no avail - the sound never seemed right, or justified the cost I sold all the speakers and

Thank you everyone for your help. I no longer have the other speakers - I had them approx 3 yrs ago, and just used the speakers in the Avant for the last 3 yrs. I have tried speaker 2 as this automatically kicks in when you play a cd on the Beosound 9000. The problem is also there on speaker 3 when watching tv, video or DVD, so not just audio.

Hello.Thanks for that. I've already tried switching the speakers over from Left to Right and also plugging the right speaker a different power link socket, but this has made no difference. RegardsMartin

Hello I have a Beosound 9000 connected via masterlink to Avant 28" vcr (1998). I have just attached a pair of Beolab 3's to the Avant as I have a Prologic sound card installed in the Avant, which has worked fine previously and powered Beolab 1's and Beolab 8000's.
