  • Re: Beovision Avant 28 Picture Tube

Yes, the quote was from B&O. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to dig deep and pay the $$'s. At least I will know it'll be working 100% then.

Thanks for the great info, I wasn't actually considering doing the work myself, just tring to save a few $'s on the cost of the tube itself. I guess the next question is , where do I go to find out which Philips tube it is?

  • Beovision Avant 28 Picture Tube

Further to my earlier post about my Beovision Avant 28 Mk I, type 8133. I believe the tube for these was made by Philips. Did philips also use the same tube in any of their televisions? Is it possible to swap a tube from a Philips to the Beovision? I'm just trying to avoid the AUD$1200+ dollar replacement bill. regards Shane

  • Beovision Avant 28 no Blue.

Hi, My beovision Avant 28 is not showing blue in on the screen, ie, red and green, but no blue. Is the tube dead? Is the tube expensive to replace? is it a B&O tube or is it manufactured by another brand? Thank you in advance Shane
