Thanks, I'll see if the manuals will help. Apart from the picture being in Format 2 rather than Format 3 when I switch to v.aux, I'm really pleased with the STB controller and control over the apple TV via Beo4. It's not that much of a pain switching the format, but wanted to try avoid the kids having to make the change when they are in

Hi, I have been using my apple tv successfully with my BV3 connected to the v.tape socket via scart (via converter) and it has been correctly displaying full wide screen when I switch to v.tape and overall really pleased with this set up. However I have now added an ir splitter in order to control the ATV via the v.aux STB and although the control via

Hello, One of my Beolab 6000s has been knocked over (over enthusiastic 8 year old) and is no longer responsive. If I turn the power off and then back on or when a source is turned on e.g. TV, the speaker makes a single low pitch pop and the LED indicator briefly turns from red to green before returning to red with no further response. If anyone has

This is exactly my problem in that I would love to connect Apple TV to my beovision 3 to access the content on my IMAC, but without a converter there is no easy way. Has anyone used a converter to connect to a BV3/Avant and if so can they provide details as to their experience?

Hi, Has anyone managed to connect an Apple TV to a BV3? i thought it was more complicated and requireed a signal converter rather than a scart adapter. I looked at the link from the previous post and that went to the apple website which didn't indicate a scart connector/adaptor was available. I've been holding off from the apple TV as I thought

I managed to hook the Lab3's up to test them out and I am amazed by how good they sound and that this sound comes from such a small package. I have Beloab 6000/4000s on my main set up linked to a BV3 and the 3's blow both of these away. It has got me thinking that I should trade in both these sets for another set of Lab3s as the rear BL4000s

Peter, Thank you for the very generous offer. I have actually bought some floor stands from Lifstyle AV which I intend to use longer term (once we have completed some building work), but neither the stands nor speakers had the screws to secure the speakers to the stands (hopefully being resolved by Lee and his team) so I was going to use the rubber

Hi all, I got a call from my dealer first thing and he confirmed what you are saying that the cables are mark3 and ok for the Lab3 and that the bases were no longer standard and price dropped to reflect this. Looking forward to trying everyting out at the weekend! Thanks again, Jon.

Thanks for the quick replies guys. I checked the cables and according to the manual the powerlink mark2 have a small triangle on the powerlink socket, which is missing on the cables I have. Also I have some powerlink mark2 cables which I use with some other beolabs and they are slighlty thicker than the mark1 cables I also have. Thanks again, Jon.

Hi all, I have just picked up a new pair of Beolab 3's from my dealer and have a couple of questions that I need advice on. As I am connecting the speakers to my Imac the dealer ordered cables that have powerlink at one end and a single rca at the other, with both cables plugging into a single mini jack adapter that can then plug into the Mac. The
