Thanks Peter, much appreciated. I am not sure if you remember as I have been out of the country for some time, but I have the 5 pin B&O |SP cartridge, medogsfat posted a picture up for me a while back. If you are still interested in swapping the unusual one for a normal, let me know your email and I can PM you. Thanks again for the tip, another

Hi guys Don't worry its not the old chesnut about where to get repacements cartridges!! I have found an unused SP10 stylus and casing at a jumble sale - the B&O box caught my attention and I was chuffed when I found it. Perfect condition, never out of the plastic casing. It is solely the stylus casing and needle and not the cartridge, I also

HI I have put a message on here previosuly, but despite kind suggestions from members at solving the problem I am none the wiser I have a Beocenter 7000,which judges the size of the LP correctly , but usually only makes it between 50% and 60% of the way through the LP before lifting the stylus arm and returning to its original position automatically

Thanks guys I have tried tiurning on and off, several differnt reocrd types. The thing is that if I start the record later on i.e. start it at half way through, it still does not make it to the end, I may try timing ti to see if the time playing is the dsame on each accosion. Thanks for the tips guys, hoprefully one of these will solve it, I have downlaoded

HI guys, just to add onto this, there is a 5 pin stylus on Ebay at the moment: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BANG-AND-OLUFSEN-SP-14-SP14-CARTRIDGE-STYLUS-VGC_W0QQitemZ250296823844QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item250296823844&_trkparms=72%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 Sean

The only thing I can think with this is that there si a timer set somewhere to record a certain amount of the record onto tape, and it only runs to this timer as hwen I start the record in the middle it still stops before the end. Any other ideas appreciated!! Sean

From everything I have looked at the beocenter automatically judges the size of te reocrd on the turnatble. Mine judges correct size but when it starts to play it switches off and returns the stylus arm usually about half way through, When I bought this as a bargain, the price was worth the speakers that it came with it alone, but would always prefer

OK, I am coming back on this one with a really daft question, the control for this has two "teeth" sticking up. The automatic setting is at 12 o'clock, the manual setting is at 6 o'clock. How do I know which is set to which? Each one of the "teeth" matches one of the settings when in position. I can get it to rotate freely

Hi guys Thank you for uploading this medogsfat It is an SP12, you're right Peter, the extra pin is in exactly the same place as the usual dimple in the centre of an SP stylus. Do you reckon if I removed this it would still work? Bit of a long shot but it is not very useful as is. Sean
