Just spoken to my dealer ( Stirling) and he has confirmed that it wouldnt be any use to me. We were talking about the possibilty of a Beolab2 to see how I get on with that. I know I owuldnt get 5:1 but it would be an improvement on what I have now.

I purchased a Beosound 9000 , with 4000's a couple of weeks ago and love them but I've given up my old surround sound system. I've got a Samsung 40 inc LCD which is fairly new so I dont want to (cant really) get rid of it just now.I;'ve been looking around and seen the AV7000 and it looks like exactly what I need. Do B&O offer another solution apart from the beosystem 3 ? I've got an HDTV PVR but want my new speakers to be part of a 5:1? Sorry again to be a complete novice\pest!!!

Budget isnt a problem - when I say isnt a problem I mean I can spend in the region of 500-1000 more on my initial purchase. I plan on adding to it in the near future and this was my plan. Initial Beosound 9000 with the BL4000s mounted then in 3-4 months time buy the Beolab3's for front speakers and a Beolab 2 ( I think ) for my sub. I already have

Would a good configuration be the Beolab 4000s mounted on the wall behind me (either side of our couch) and the Beolab 3's on the other side fo the room ? Would the Beosound be able to support the 4 speakers?
