That did not seem to do anything. I think I need to open the case and check to see if it is jammed. I have a service manual but cannot seem to figure out how to open the system to service it. Does anyone know which screws to take out to flip the top open on the Beocenter 9000 for service? Thanks.

Hi all Fabulous to find this great forum. I just moved to California and had my beautiful Beocenter 9000 and Penta towers shipped from Canada in the original crates. Everything works fine but the CD door won't open when you press Load. It tries and opens about 1/16" and then just hums. Does anyone know how to manually unlatch the CD door or
