What happened? Always interesting to follow up :)

Thank you for the pictures! Interesting to see that you did not need to use the shield as ground or anything. I will try this myself but I'll probably try to put the RJ45 connector directly on the ML-cable but we'll see :) Thanks again!

Aha! Good to know! Which colour do you have on your lexcom-cables? Hard to hide the connector itself. Did you use shielded RJ45-connectors? I think that is necessary but I don't have the type specified in B&Os guide, but I do have a few shielded standard connectors. And many more unshielded.

Thank you Ralf, I have been reading a bit and I also have the " Cat7/Class F New Installation Concept New infrastructure Handbook" from B&O. I just wanted to know if anyone had done this themselves out of old cables. It seems a bit hard so I´ll probably end up buying the cables instead. Another thing, people are sayint that it only

Hi guys! I wonder if anyone here has made a masterlink -> rj45 cable here. I have the tool for making rj45-contacts and I have a few old masterlink cables that I would like to cut in halv and put a rj45-connector on. Is it that simple or what should I do? I can buy new cables that alreade are masterlink-rj45 but they are about 50 dollars each and

Update 2. Call me crazy but I actually bought a spare bs9000 that was freight damaged, which included a floor stand in good shape :). The freight damaged bs9000 has a glass door where the mounts have come lose(interesting to see that B&O has drop-proofed it with rubber-safetylines glued to the mounts so it won't fall down). Anyhow. Since it

Quick update. Have not recorded the problem yet but I bought a floor stand and it works very well on it (less gravitational impact I guess). It looks better than I thought it would so I am happy with that, for now at least. Have also spoken with the seller and he offered me some money back towards the service cost.

Aha! Well, I think the prices might be a bit different in sweden since the BV10 is quite expensive but of course not a BV7 eventough not far from. I think the Bv10 is more like a bv7 than bv6. Here in sweden they put the price on display without ar-coating and without dvb-receiver(which is extremely weird since dvb is the only tv-signals available)

Sorry for asking a question not exactly related but I wonder why the BV10 is available with and without the AR coating. Does it look different (bad) with AR? Or is it just an option so that B&O can charge extra for a tv that already has a premium price? I thought the reason for putting glass in front of a panel was to reduce glare and enhance contrast

Quick update: Called the service company today again and they were much more happy to help me today :). I talked for about fiften minutes about the issue and I now know that this sometimes happens. The engine, or actually the gearbox wears out and gets problem driving the glass door. Replacing it costs about 3000 SEK including labour. I have informed
