    I'll definitely read up on it, but as I'm a true novice, I'm unfamiliar with most of the technical terms in the thread you linked. I'm certain that the turntable was recently serviced (within the last month), and like I said, it was playing perfectly up until yesterday. Is it possible that the platter is simply too high or too low?

    Hey everybody, I just inherited a Beogram 8000 that once belonged to my grandfather that my dad recently had refurbished, along with some other stereo components. I've had it for about a week, but I'm very much a novice when it comes to this stuff, so I'm facing a problem that I have no idea how to solve. The Beogram 8000 has been working
