Hello! A friend gave a wrecked Beogram 8000 to me, I'm trying to get it in working order... After some work on finding missing parts (platter, screws,) , cleaning old grease,...the platter spins correctly (metal version tacho) but there are two intermittent arm "behaviours" (At first the arm did not even go down) It sways across the platter

Dust removed inside, white painting stains removed from the wood , I think it will visually match with 2 Beovox 1000...I'll send pics of the beast in a little while... Thanks for your precious advice Philippe

Hello Mika, thanks for the tip, it works! It's always a great moment when you find the sealed enveloppe with the schematics inside ... The other surprise is that the cassette deck runs at the right speed nearly forty years after, and that the belt has not melted around in comparison of more recent products...I've had a big cleaning job recently

Hello beoworld community, I'm new on this forum Just found a Beocenter 1400 at a flea market, the unit is working fine but I want to have a look on the cassette deck. I thought the dismantling process was to be as simple as for a 901, but I' can't see how to remove the wooden upper panel (right side) I simply can't get to the side screws
