problem fixed - faulty cradle - thanks anyway

hi - the music switches on and off every few seconds only when playing music thru the itouch (connected to to the beocenter) - CDs and the radio are fine on the beocenter and the itouch itself is fine when not connected to the beocenter the itouch is sitting on a basic apple itouch cradle which has a 3.5mm jack from which it is attached to the beocenter

I have connected an itouch to my Beocenter 2 via the a-aux channel and I have been playing music thru it for more than a year. It has now developed a fault whereby the music just switches on and off every second or so. I hve checked all the connections. Any thoughts as to what the issue may be? Thks
