Yes, a cheap SCART is in use I tuned the tv to a spare channel with no reception. This eliminated the 'lines' problem but the picture was a little snowy. Then SCART wire 19 was snipped and that's worked. The signal/picture is now much improved. Thanks for the good advice langleyav & tournedos.

I watch freeview TV, have had multiple freeview boxes with different CRT TV's and all produced screen noise in the form of thin lines floating across the screen usually from right to left, on all channels. Now with the B&O + Humax (recommended by B&O), the general SD picture is great but screen noise is much more obvious than all the cheaper

Hi, I have the Beovision 1, and because it's an analogue TV need a digital freeview box. 4 different boxes have been auditioned. The box with the best picture turned out to be my 4 year old crown CDST900, which produces a smooth almost analogue like video, but has damaged audio channels. Hi, thanks for the info but when the menu button is pressed only TV, DVD, SETUP, TEXT options are opened with the < or > buttons. The SETUP menu doesn't give access to picture controls. Could the previous owners settings be blocking the other menus and if so, how can the tv & remote be reset ? I downloaded the 40 page Guide but can't

Hi, I'm a B&O newbie, have a beovision 1 LS (2001) tv and the beo4 remote (mk2 with vtape, atape buttons) had to download the user manuals. Can't find settings to adjust colour, brightness, contrast. Colour needs dialing down a bit. Does this tv even have screen colour settings ? If it does, can someone please tell me how to access those
