I have taken the back off the motor and cleaned it already, but could see no way to remove the armature to get at the bearing on the other side. How is this done? Is it possible the permanent magnet is losing its permanence?

Where would I source a new or repaired motor for my beloved Beogram 1100 or am i just flogging a dead horse. Is there somewhere that would repair the one I have. It still runs as long as i give it a couple of miniutes to get up to speed.
