    Ah OK, that makes sense. I wondered what else the Control link cables did. What I might do then is power up the Beosound 3000 and see what "keep alive" voltage it puts down the wire and replicate it with a small box of electronics. In a nutshell, I want to use my Beolab 2 and Beolab 8000 speakers without the Beosound 3000. This must be quite

    Hi I have intergrated my Beosound 8000s into my A/V system using the Line Level input, but I've got a curious problem. When watching a movie at low volume, the speakers switch into and out of standby randomly. This also happens when the AV amp is switched off, and also with the RCA lead removed. It's very erratic. The left speaker might do it
