Thank you for the advice! What a pity the part is no longer available and this is the only thing that prevents most 9000s from working. My clip hasn't disintegrated entirely, I will attempt a delicate repair using superglue and see how I get on. Listening to CDs once again will be a joy.

Hi all, I'm new to the forum here but have been a lifelong fan of B&O and particularly like their vintage products. My Beocenter 9000 is immobilised at the moment because of a cracked CD retaining clip that sits on top of the spindle. It won't retain the CD as the crack allows it to expand and therefore doesn't clamp the CD in place
