Hi I am looking at buying a set of used Beolab 5's. I would like some advice from the experts on this forum regarding the following:- 1. Have these speakers had any upgrades, design/component changes over the last 9 years of production? 2. Do they need to be serviced? 3. Are there any things I should be looking for when it comes to buying second

Hi Stereogeezer, I am looking at moving over to B&O and was thinking of similar set up to yours. I have the same problem you had. I have just purchased a Philips 58" 21:9 3D TV and I don't want to go back to 16:9. Would the system 3 work this tv okay? And Do you lose any functionality by using a non B&O monitor? Does the remote work

Hi Steve Thanks for the info, The only thing with this is that I would have a headphone socket permanently plugged into the tv. Also, I pressume the volume would be controlled via the tv? And, would the sound quality be okay? I can use this as my Last Resort, however I was hoping for a neater solution. If you have any other suggestions I would be grateful

Hi I am thinking of buying a pair of Beolab 1 speakers. I want to use an Apple TV (New version) as the main source with a HD TV for video and the beolabs for sound. The apple TV has optical audio out and the beolab 1 have an RCA analogue in. I can buy a converter from lindy audio to convert the signal however I think that I may lose the volume control
