The power switch is on but the BS 9000 does not turn on nor is there a power indication light on the speaker led. Is there an internal fuse that I can replace?

I have a BS 9000 and it has had a power problem since I bought it. The unit will not turn on either at the control pad or with the remote. The dealer told me to unplug it from power, turn it on for 30 seconds, turn it off, plug power cord back in and it should work. Unfortunately it doesn't.
