Hi Martin I have sent you some money via moneybookers which i have just noted you have received. With regards to the comment from Chintz re the early Beocord 9000 having a protection circuit and not a fuse the serial number of mine is 2673009. I can spin the motor spinde freely by hand so i am hoping it is not that? If mine does hav a protection circuit

Thank you Dillen for your prompt reply. CAn you quote me for some new belts and a fuse, i am resident in the uk. also, can you let me know where the fuse is as the motor still isnt working after removing the belts? thanks again stewart

HI I have just been playing with my Beocord 9000 which has been in the attic for a long time when suddenly the tape will not move at all. The heads engage then disengage after about 2 secs. the fwd/rwd butons just make a click sound but thats all. all other displays seem ok. Update I have lifted the front cover and found both belts stretched (think
