Thanks for all the great advice. I definately have proof there is something wrong. Update on Sept. 2. B&O Technicien came over and installed firmware updates to the 7-40 after we witnessed the PS3 workig fine on other TV's and having some startup issues o the 7-40. After the update, it APPEARED to have solved the issue. i could switch from the PS3 to the Apple TV and to Cable seamlessly. But all problems happen after the technicien

It does happen only when the 7-40 is connected to the PlayStation3. When I hook up the playstaion via HDMI to any other of the TV sets in the house, I do not have this issue. So I have eliminated the PS3 as the problem. I then used the HDMI cable that the 7-40 is attached to my Apple TV (which works perfectly). I used that cable and still the PS3 doesn't

So I am the proud owner of a new 7-40 professional installed television. Some peculiar problems when I hooked it up to the Playstation 3.
