Almost good news. I have finally gotten the carrtiage drive belt back on, I was worried for a while. I will re-try the adjustments again Kelvin

Hi Guys I did try the 7" adjustment first which didn't seem to change the set down much. I was not sure how far to turn it as turned the tension seemed to get pretty tight. In the meantime...I took the drive cable off and I'm having trouble getting it back on. Is there a proceedure for doing this? Thanks Kelvin

On both the 17 cm and 30 cm set down points the stylus lands about 1/2 a cm into the track. Also when stop is pressed, the carriage does not go all the way back to the right . It seems to be about 1/2 cm to the left of the end of the rails. Thanks Kelvin

Hi Martin I have thoroughy reoved the old grease and applied new white grease to the rails. and checked the ecentric adjustments again. The problem remains. I have also noticed that in the stop position, the tonearm carriage does not go all the way back (right) to the end of the rails. Is there anything else I can try? Thanks Kelvin

I have a Beogram TX2 and everything works fine but the tone arm sets down about 1/2 centimetre into the first track. I have tried the adjustments in the service manual but no luck. Has anyone encountered this before? Thanks Kelvin

Hi Martin Thanks for your quick response The sensor arm is at the correct height, and the unit seems to play well. I adjusted the counter weight. The arm balances parallel to the sensor arm. I set the tracking to 1.2. It is only when the arm is cued up or off when it seems to be resting at an an upward angle. I've got the service manual but don't
