Thanks for the quick response. Yes, I believe the TV was replaced with a brand new set - it took about 4 weeks to arrive. Do you know what's causing the problem? Six sets between us - design fault maybe?

Hi All I am back with yet another problem. I bought a new 7-40 earlier this year which was replaced within 2 months because of a fault with the screen. It also had an early SW version (7.05) causing the fans to race. By the way, my local dealer had no idea how to fix this problem until I passed on your forum replies confirming a known problem fixed

Hi all My 7-40 is controlling my SkyHD box (samsung). Everything works fine with the exception of an annoying time delay when I use my Beo4 remote to control the sky menus. For example, if I pause live TV, rewind and then press go to play it can takes 3/4 seconds to accept the request. This makes the Be04 unusable fro anything other than basic commands

Hi All I have just bought a new 7-40 with integrated DVB & Blue-ray player. Beautiful TV but I am really disappointed with the noise the fans make. At low volume and during quiet scenes its almost unbearable! Does anybody else have this issue? I have been in contact with my supplier and they are lookig into it but I am not sure how we fix this problem
