By using this cable does it reduce the speakers from audio sensing and turning on and off. or is this a way to send data to the displays on the pentas?

I recently aquired a pair of BeoLab penta 1's upgrading my BeoLab 4000's. These do not have the powerlink connection and the only way I have found to connect them was using the line input on the speakers. My issue is the speakers tend to click on and off when ever the doors open on the system. Is there another solution connecting these speakers
