I'm using a pair of Mirrage OM 9 omnipolar speakers, Mirrage is a Canadian builder. I have alot newer high end audio equipment but I must say, this older B&O reciever is trully amazing, such a sweet sounding unit.

Hi, I'm trying to hook up a pair of non B&O speakers to my 5500.. I have the two pin plugs that plug into the speaker outputs. Can someone tell me what pin is positive and negative?...the plugs have a small pin and a larger flat pin. Thanks for any info.

Hi, I just bought a Beomaster 5500, It came with a Beolink 1000 remote. All function seem to work well however I'm not sure exactly how to controle the system. I'm ok with the obvious controls like power on and off, volume, treble, base....it's more like programing radio station and just knowing what station it's tuned to. I know I should

Hi, I'm new and have a few questions. I'm considering buying a used 5500 system, I remember going into my local sterio shop back in the 80's and listening to the amazing sound of the B&O systems.
