Thanks for reply...Now help me set my mind at ease...I'm theorizing that due to the angle, the upper part of the diamond rode in the upper part of the groove, thereby limiting the tip from making my vinyl do a "shake yo groove thing"- ya ya -LOL

Per recommendation on my earlier post, I have a picture of my mmc4....as one will see, the cartridge orientation seems correct. But the stylus (which is what I'm calling the cantilever/diamond assembly) has a distinct rearward orientation, and after seeing "before and after" ultrasonic cleaning under the microscope, then seeing this cantilever

Hello Beogram Persons! My latest question concerns the angle of the stylus/cantilever to the record groove. I have set up my Beo2000/MMC4 with 1.2 gms tracking force. I noticed the stylus is angled back into the record groove some 30 deg. from vertical (or 60 deg. from horizontal). It really looks kind of destructive for the vinyl. The cantilever seems

Hmmm yes, that method sounds good...Have you ever heard of the clearance problem with the dust cover? Speaking of sounding good, Jethro Tull's Too Old to Rock n Roll (too young to die) really has some nicely nuanced string and percussion parts that I never realised before listening through my mmc-4---who knew? Hey Chris, ...finally got a minute to sit down and try the new bushings...well I had to cut the inserts out of the old ones to fit my screws, but the rubbers appear to be the right size. I'm in the middle of it now, looks like a winner... I'll be in touch- tx-Hank

To use a Yank term: Awesome! Mine are without the brass flange, but I'm thinking that would be an improvement because it would distribute the weight better and resist flattening out which is the problem with mine. Do they meet the 4.9-5.9mm tall dimension? If so it looks like a winner! I assume they are still pliable enough to survive installation

Quick post to ask if anyone knows where to get drive motor mounting grommets for Beogram 2000. Mine got "spongy" allowing motor to sag below spec. --3 grommets: 7 mm wide, 4.9mm tall with brass tube embedded. -thanks- Heinrich
