Lieber Vienna Thank you once again - that solved my problem. You are indeed a bottomless well of knowledge about my own contry's most famous AV-producers! I think Beoworld would experience a radical added value if you documentet all you knowledge and publicised it here. I am indeed very impressed, mein Herr! Vielen Dank. Kind Regards Louise

Dear Vienna Thank you - that solved the problem. I think I will use the "Beo4-AV-V.MEM"-solution rather than the "IR-damper"-solution. But both are superbly conceived. If I meet other Danes I will tell them the solution to their problem - without revieling my source - ao I can stand in the rays of your sun (if it is ok with you)

Good idea. Unfotunately the bm4500 also reacts on a "v-tape"-command however, I think your suggestion on getting an ir-damper and the solution I will end up using: cheap, easy and intuitive. Good thinking. Thank you very much, indeed. Kind regards Louise

Dear Vienna - and the rest of you I would very much like to keep my physical setup - i.e. no re-wiring, no moving of speakers, no procuring of expensive concererts and so forth. Could this work: I have the physical diagram for the BM 4500. I am considering asking my neighbor who is an electronic technician to construct the following: a relae (switch

Dear Vienna That answer gives me gose bumps after all the existing wiring jobs and the investments... ...I pray to the Lord that there exists an easier solution than that. Ypurs sincerely Louise

Just tried it. No sound. Not even if I manually pressed aux on the Beomaster4500. But thank you for still trying to help me. Louise

Dear Vienna "(your Set Top Box is also operated/controlled via the IR of the BV !)" - my STB is a Triax 409 which has its own IR-eye which does not receives commands from the BV as it is not supported by the BV. The STB controlles the BV via a Scart cable. Kind regards Louise
