    Hi everyone ! this is not really a post but an opportunity taken to say a great big THANKYOU to two members...Martin (Dillen) and Menachen (Yachadm) To Menachen for supplying the correct answer to my ongoing tonearm problem and to Martin for supplying the necessary parts to fix it....thanks to you both. Martin also supplied a capacitor set to restore

    Hi Menahem and thanks for the quick reply. I'll check out the capacitors...the burned out transistors happened a few years ago so are no longer an issue. What should the voltage across the solenoid terminals be? Mike

    Hi,I bought this Beogram 6000 35 years ago and apart from a couple of burned out transistors I've had no problems.... until now ! The problem is, the solenoid which raises and lowers the tone arm seems to have lost it's power.... and YES all the linkage is free and adequately lubricated. On the workbench the solenoid seems to work just fine
