I actually want to make my own wall plates. I found 8 pin DIN sockets online, is the powerlink just a standard 8 pin din? Or a special socket where the pins don't line up with a standard DIN?

Are they some standard type of socket? I'm not looking for cables, but something I can mount on a wall plate. Thanks, Corey
