Hi Jon, that is so very kind of you. But guess what, I just went to have a play around with it again and there was a message on the screen asking for a name. Somehow or another with out doing anything it has re-registered it self over night/this morning plus I have my contacts back and everything, even though I'd reset the phone and the base yesterday

hi, I have 1 phone and one base. Not sure if mark 1 or 2 but on the phone I have to press dot 7 to get the menu up if that helps. Phone has been working fine and then this morning I could not answer when someone called. Then I saw I could not dial either, got a loudish engaged tone. I reset the base and phone and started to reset it but now it asks
