    Could it be that the platter is not level? I ask this because the platter appears to sit higher on the tonearm side compared to the side opposite the tonearm. I did not notice instructions for leveling the platter in the service guide. Thank you

  • Beogram 5005 distortion on inner grooves.

    The Beogram 5005 turntable that I have plays great until it gets to the last few tracks of the record and then it distorts the recording. I have cleaned the rails and lubed and checked tonearm set up, I have also used a new record to test. I have been told that it might be the stylus but I would like a second opinion before I spend the money on a new
