• Re: Replacing DC motor Beogram 1902

Tx for response Martin So the plug to the circuit board does'nt need sordering, thats good news.
The 1600 I cannot comment on since I don't have the manual and never saw a 1600 here in Denmark.
I beleve this model was only sold in France and Vs so they should be quite rare here in EUrope! I'll consider

Goodevening all. I decided to leave the Beogram 1600 in one piece and restore it cause it runs very smoothly, looks nice and, important, the lid is intact ! Now I'm picking up an 1102 soon with a good running motor (according to the seller) So PLEASE someone can tell me how I can be sure the the replacement motor is good, how can I test it ? Further

  • Replacing DC motor Beogram 1902

Hi there. The dc motor of my Beogram 1902 seems to be broken. Now I also own a (newer) 1600. Does it have the same motor and how can I replace them? Or should I continue with the 1600 instead ? Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated ! Rob

Problem is solved meanwhile ! I have again applied one drop of sewingmachine oil on the brass lever pin and sofar the mechanism is again working properly. When playing it sounded scraping and distorted. Thanks to Soundproofs tip it is playing fine now!
A friend has an MMC2 that resembles the top one you've got. Something's

Hi there, it is quite silent here !
Now a small problem becomes noticable, the arm works great, lowers and rises quickly, but at the end of the lp the stylus seems to drag (very little though) over the grooves of the lp. Is the arm returning to fast or is it the lifting that cause this ??
What begun with a

Hi All ! I am Rob from the Netherlands and also recently bought an older 1902. Now I've been reading this threat with much interest. Mine Beogram played quite well right away but the acryl innerwork of the pitch control was a wreck ! I managed to fix it fortunately. Also I gave the brass pin a drop of sowing machine oil, it was moving up and down
