And yes, I am trying to put it through my Avant & Beolab 9s and am awaiting a jack to two phono lead as I write... I have currently got the power lead (naturally) plus ML plus an SVHS into the close up socket

Hi My first time on a forum, so please bear with me. I have a late Avant DVD and have been trying to get a Beomedia 1 to work with it, and even adding the IR sensor neither my BEO4 or BEO5 work with it, even in PC mode on the BEO4 (can't work out how to configure the BEO5 that much!). I get the menu on the screen through my SVHS cable but no movement
