Sorry that i was gone...had few virus related problems. im not gonna do the soldering myself...im gonna leave that to the pros.... im gonna try and fix it during the week and ill be back with the news...thank you soooo much for the picture and the explanation..

but there are no transformators or other electrical components in the the "splitter". I sholuld be able to connect the wires straight to the power and line directly from the pyramid. I took a picture of the pyramid and the connector with 4 wires. It would be easy just to solder cables directly to the board.

what about the connector inside the base. I've bought the phone without the cable and now i dont know which cables goest to adapter and which to telephone line.
