Martin I tried squeezing in the pins a little and refitting to the arm and it didn't change anything. Another post talked about a muting relay when the tone arm comes on and off the record it sounds like maybe something along those lines because if you take the arm on and off the record manually there is no sound coming out of the right channel

Thanks Andrew Wouldn't the mute switch effect both channels. On mine it's just the right channel that is not working but again it works for a second when the needle first touches the record then it goes out Rich

Help I just bought a Beocenter 7700 and I am having trouble with turn table output. When in the tuner mode both left and right channels work fine. When using the turn table the right channel is close to being completely out (max. volume and you can barely hear it it). I notice when the needle first engages the records it plays for about 1 second then
