thank you so much! i was nearly pulling my hair out... unlike when pressing the 'list' function where you get helpful arrows >>, there is no indication at all when pressing menu that more options are available left and right. Tricky stuff for the newbie!

I have a beovision 1 that needs re-tuning due to a house move. A few issues: -pressing 'menu' on the beo 4 remote does not bring up a menu on the tv screen(all other controls, channel change, teletext, stand, work just fine) -after going to the 'add' (hold red dot+list) and selecting 'v.setup' i now have the 'v.setup'

Thanks for the advice, I gave it a try with no luck. Maybe I just dont want to admit the phone is dead :(

I just got hold of a second beocom 6000 mk1 and am having trouble getting it to register with my "old style" pstn. my original setup will de-register and register no problem. (Also 6000 mk1 -It has the version 2.5). Any chance this could be due to the "new" handset having 1.1? I really hope i'm missing something completely obvious
