Thanks for the reply. We did check all the settings available to us in terms of tone, balance, etc, to no avail. This weekend we'll drag the speakers back into the room again and try swapping them over to see if Mr Townsend comes roaring back! Andy

Thanks for the reply. The cable does look a bit old and dodgy at the connector end - I'll have a closer look and see if a wire has come out. Really do apprecaite the offer of trying another cable, I'll look further and come back. Andy

Thanks for the quick reply. Life is just one long party for me, so I'm not sure if we played it too loud, but I don't think so! I'm in Cardiff, South Wales and there is an official B&O store here, but it may be very expensive to take them there for repair?
