  • Re: Beocord 6500 problem

Hi Noah, Excuses me for the late reply. The 6500 are 2 type of mechanism deck: with two motors (first version) and one motor (last version). First, see your 6500 if 1 or 2 motors (if 2 motors, one is up and other is back). If one motor, the deck looks like this image (sorry, i'm not a great artiste) The Beocenter 9000 is a version with 2 motors

Yes one of the cables from the head is certainly cut ! It is best to replace the head Anyway, it should be removed to see if you can resolder the cable. Cables are cut because the head rotate (auto-reverse mode). good luck !!

  • Re: Gateway

Hi Noah, Check with the idea of Mark. What may also happen that a cable cut at the rotary heads You can verify this by making a short-circuiting, with a metal paper clip, the two channels on the output plug heads. For that we open the unit (2 screws to unscrewed not completly on the back) MAKE the opération with connector PLUGGED (see photo 2

  • Re: B&O Avant Problem

I do not understand. It is normal for the motor moves step by step if you push multiple times. It does not continue to move when you release the button >> or << The mouvement stop instantly when you release buttons. If you press on the remote a multiples times, the motor "jump" a multiple times. For indications, see on back the

Check the movement without any cable connected to the appareiel just power supply cord, because the cables can interfere with the rotation in one direction and not the other.
