Hello all, Have had the builders round who switched off the mains and therefore cut the power to the system for several hours. Subsequently the BV7 and Beocentre 2 asked for the pin which I entered correctly. The Beocentre works just fine (dispalying the radio name on the BV7 LED panel) but the BV7 fails to turn on the SkyHD box instead showing the

Thought room acoustics may be playing a part. The walls are bare plaster with very little furniting. Simply the system, sofas, and wooden floor. Any thoughts on discreet ways of improving this? Thanks!

Could try the Invisibleshield from Zagg.

You are so right! I thought I did have the blu-ray player, but it turns out I don't! It will be upgraded in April says the dealer.... Nearly had a heart attack this morning when the discs didn't work, apparently I had misunderstood and that the TV would arrive in March and will be upgraded at a later date.

Sorry found out the 8000's are sheilded so it couldn't have been them. Although take a look in the articles section at Degaussing and Demagnatising.

Does anybody else find that even a slighty scratched DVD is unreadable on your Beocentre 2? I have reconditioned so many of my DVD's so I can enjoy them on the Beo rather than the panasonic upstairs on which they work, but i'm getting tired!

I had this problem too. What I did was disconnect it from the mains for 20 seconds then reconnect. Be sure to have your pincode handy, as I once answered a call and came back to find it locked.

I'm in the UK. Had placed an order for the BV7 in December with an estimated delivery of mid-Feb. My dealer then advised me to wait until the beginning of March for the built-in Blur ra y drive and voila!

Interesting point, as I had a pair of 8000's about 75cm away from the telly either side.
