Keith, thanks for reply. Yes replaced all cables and the VTR deck is same one that came out. The VTR had a blown psu which I eventually repaired (my background is electronics engineering). The VTR functions (play, rewind, stop etc.) are OK when controlled by BEO4 but top buttons do not function meaning you cannot eject tape (I can fiddle this but I

The VTR Chassis was removed and replaced. Now the TV does not seem to recognise the VTR. The three buttons at the top of TV do not work and when playing back a tape I only have blank screen. Anybody out there with knowledge of this problem
