I purchased a Beogram TX 2 20 years ago - but used very little - cds came in. Now, with a new speakers (Magnepan 1.6s) and new amp & preamp - am going back to vinyl. I wonder how my B&O turntable compares with present day turntables - enough increase in quality to justify spending $1000 to $1500 for a new turntable and cartridge? No way to compare
