Hi! Thank you all for your suggestions. I will try out some more stuff this weekend. I actually tried both the REC in and REC OUT pins, with a mp3 player connected, but sound could be heard. I will try out a different cable this weekend, made from scratch. Last weekend I used an old pre-made 3.5 mm cable from which I cut off the cinch (RCA) connectors

Hi! My girlfriend just "inherited" a beocenter 2500 system from her Father. In addition to radio and CD we want to connect her computer to the beocenter. I soldered an aux in cable, using wiring information from this site, but no sound can be heard when switched to aux. Can it be that a voltage must be present on pin 6 of the aux connection
